How we handle your data

Mergd (mergd.minianon.in) is an early-stage project building an AI talent agent on WhatsApp, run by its founders in India. For anything privacy-related, email mergdhq@gmail.com.

When you join the waitlist we store:

• Your email address.
• Whether you're an engineer or hiring, and which form you used.
• Your company name, if you request a design-partner spot.
• Your approximate country, worked out by our hosting provider from your connection. We don't store your IP address.
• The date and time you signed up.

We also count page visits with privacy-friendly analytics that use no cookies and don't follow you across other sites. Your light or dark theme choice is saved only in your own browser.

• To keep your place on the waitlist and send you one confirmation email.
• To invite you when early access opens, or to contact your startup about a pilot spot.
• To understand roughly how many people are interested, and where they heard about us.

We don't sell your data, we don't use it for advertising, and we won't add you to unrelated mailing lists.

We use a few trusted services to run the waitlist. They process your data only to provide their service to us:

• Vercel hosts this website and its signup endpoint.
• Google (Google Sheets and Gmail) stores the waitlist and notifies our team of new signups.
• Resend sends the confirmation email.

These providers may store or process data outside India, for example in the United States or Japan.

We keep your waitlist details until early access opens and you've had the chance to join. If you don't join, we delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.

• Ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
• Ask us to delete your details and take you off the waitlist.
• Tell us to stop emailing you.

Email mergdhq@gmail.com from the address you signed up with. We'll act on it within 30 days, usually much sooner.

Before Mergd collects anything for your profile (like your CV or coding handles), we'll show you a separate notice and ask for your consent. Nothing about you will be shared with a company unless you say Yes to that specific role.

Mergd is for people aged 18 and over. Please don't join the waitlist if you're younger.

If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
